How do I keep from laughing when I'm trying to discipline my 6-year-old for mooning her sister while she practices her violin? Biting my cheeks has never worked for me.

- I am a wife to a pretty amazing guy and mom to 5 energetic kids. That is who I am and what I love above anything else. A month after his 2nd birthday (only 2 weeks ago), our youngest, Ty, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and our world turned upside down. I use writing as a way of healing, processing and record-keeping. I also hope to use this blog as a way to network with other parents of young ones with diabetes, because truthfully, I could use all the help I can get. I have great hope for a cure to this disease that has effected so many. Oh, man. Mooning is a forgotten art form, that's for sure.
You know where little girls learn their behaviors, yeah? Way to go, mommy!
I just can't imagine little Alli doing that! I don't think I could have done anything, I would have just laughed.
Okay, no one is giving me any helpful advice! And Kristen, you have no idea what "little Alli" is capable of!
Oh, and Dainon, the only mooning my kids see is when they walk in on me when I'm in the shower or the toilet! I'm sure all the moms would back me up in saying that, though unfortunate, it happens all too often!
