September So Far

I know that if I don't put up a few pictures then I will need to do an overhaul catch-up post like I did a few posts ago, so here is our busy September thus far.

Oh, my boy is getting so big! He started kindergarten. His teacher is Ms. Funk and he has lots of friends in his class. I sure hope she can keep up with them all! He loves kindergarten and feels so big. Looking at these pictures I realize just how old he is looking!

I had a girls only weekend with my sisters and Mom the first week of September. We went to Park City and stuffed ourselves silly with delicious sushi at the Flying Sumo--love Groupons! If you go, the winner was the Vegas Roll. Oh my yum!

We stayed in Midway at Zermatt Resort (such a nice place!--thanks Rasmussens!), talked until 2:30 a.m. telling stories and watching "Young Victoria" -- if you haven't seen it yet, get it at Redbox-- you'll love it! We went to Swiss Days the next day and though I didn't buy anything, it was a great time with some of my favorite people. I think next year is too long to wait. What do you say ladies, shall we do this quarterly? Well, sushi at least!

This is Mom's breakfast spread. You've got to love the bowl of caramel popcorn! Can't let the little bit from the night before go to waste-- that's my mama, oh how I love her!
I got a new niece! Her name is McKinley Mae. This pic shows how much growth can happen to a little babe in just 3 short months! My boy looks big. But, ain't she cute?

Lest we forget, the Colbster started preschool and can you tell folks just how excited he is? He really is! He loves going to school and having his own thing to be excited for. We are just doing a Joy School with some moms in the neighborhood.

Yesterday, we got to take the girls to The Lion King on Broadway at the Capitol Theater! We bought the tickets back in January and it was worth every penny! (Alli didn't love it and would probably disagree, but maybe she was just tired?) The costumes, singing, acting and stage effects were all amazing and I was so glad we could go. Besides, being there kept Todd from yelling at the radio because of the Cougars' loss!
I'm determined to be better at my postings, so until next time. . . .
