Yesterday my 5-year old came up to me and very proudly stated that he knows how to spell "anyone". "Oh? How do you spell it?" I asked, knowing this is a difficult word for him to know how to spell. He quite simply said, "N-E-1". Well, how do you argue with that?

Back in the day of the pioneers, they had a name for that ... they called it "mousse." Worked well, smelled bad.
Hey Melody! Your blog looks great it will be fun to be able to see what you guys are up to more often than just the major holidays!
Well, in Panama, the Panamanians always said, that it was good luck when a bird poops on you...so he's on the road to Luck. Luv 2 you all, Aunt Debby
Yeah about what my mom said...the VERY first day I arrived in Panama (when we had moved there) I was pooped on 6 times!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not kidding 6 times!!!!!!!! My parents were rolling with laughter. They kept telling me that it was good luck. My mom made comments like, "I grew up here and NEVER have been pooped on!" She just couldn't believe it, and couldn't stop laughing for that matter. I thought there were too many birds!!!
Amberlynn, thanks for that laugh. Funny thing is I can TOTALLY hear your mom laughing and see the entire event in my mind, just knowing you guys! I guess you are REALLY lucky! Wow, 6 times. That's all I have to say. Wow.
