- I am a wife to a pretty amazing guy and mom to 5 energetic kids. That is who I am and what I love above anything else. A month after his 2nd birthday (only 2 weeks ago), our youngest, Ty, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and our world turned upside down. I use writing as a way of healing, processing and record-keeping. I also hope to use this blog as a way to network with other parents of young ones with diabetes, because truthfully, I could use all the help I can get. I have great hope for a cure to this disease that has effected so many. So take a seat, come into my thoughts for a moment, and let's see if we can't help one another out in this diabetic journey through life.

Oh man! The nose faze. Gabey just blew his nose into his hand today while we were standing in the check-out line at Walmart! Good for you for capturing the funny moments. He'll love you later when you show his girlfriend!
That is too funny! He is so cute! Let's just hope that you don't get the same picture as a teenager.. hee, hee. Enjoy the little things!
